Pink Beach - Komodo Island

Pink Beach- A trip to a beach that has white sand, may be used. But have imagined in the mind of my friend there is a sand beach that has pink or pink. Maybe my friend never thought, but the beach is really there and also in Indonesia. Pink Beach which is a term for a beach located in the Park, East Nusa Teranggara. Interestingly pink beach on Komodo Island is one of seven beaches in the world that has pink sand.

Natural conditions are still clean naturally presenting awesome charm. Hills extending from the end of the beach to the other end as keeping this beach. Conditions of deserted beaches and uninhabited give the impression of exclusivity for anyone who comes. Located in beautiful and exotic beach is certainly a lot of fun and relaxation activities interesting to do.

Pink Beach is the designation of foreign tourists to the beach which is located on the island which is also nominated in the 7 wonders of the world. For local people this beach is known as the Red Beach. The color pink is increasingly slick look when swept away by the waves. Until now it is not certain about the origin of this pink sand. However, there is an assumption that this pink color comes from the rock fragments and the presence of animals called foraminifera that produces pink. When it comes to the beach is sure buddy carry diving or snorkelling equipment. Biological diversity as thousands of species of fish, coral reefs, and the other will be a memorable spectacle. Buddy can spoil the eye just by snorkeling on the beach. Well to get equipment diving and snorkeling buddy can obtain them in Labuan Bajo. In addition to these two activities, my friend can get around to enjoy the beauty of nature is still beautiful. From the beach looks memanajang hill and around the pink beach.

Noteworthy is the pink beach area is also a habitat dragons, to be careful. It would be safe again if you are using the services of a guide who is experienced. There is a stall or shop around pink beach this, for it bring sufficient supplies mainly clothes, food and medicines. To visit the uninhabited beach, my friend can use the ships of Labuah Bajo. Usually tourists who come here are members of the pack visit to the Park.

Uninhabited beaches and quiet can be reached by renting a boat or speed boat from Labuan Bajo. Travel tour package will usually take you to the island of Rinca and Komodo Island and then to advance. From Labuan Bajo towards Pier Loh Buaya Rinca Island takes approximately 45 minutes. In Labuan Bajo there are also ships LOB (Live Aboard) are usually hired by divers who can also function as a place to stay during charm explore Flores. This ship also can be your transportation options. To reach Labuan Bajo, there are flights from Denpasar with similar small aircraft Fokker towards Komodo Airport for approximately 1 hour.
